About
Cy Coleman, whose real name was Seymour Kaufman (born on June 14, 1929 in New York in the United States and died on November 18, 2004 of a heart attack), is an American composer and pianist who composed several pieces that have become jazz standards such as Big Spender or Witchcraft.
Among his most famous musicals are Little Me (based on the "Memoirs" of Belle Poitrine), Sweet Charity (based on Cabiria Nights), and Barnum.
