Laura Shigihara is an independent video game and music composer. She has dual American and Japanese citizenship. She has created the soundtracks for more than 25 video games but is best known for composing the soundtrack for the tower defense video game Plants vs. Zombies and its lyrical end credits ("Zombies on Your Lawn"). She also wrote and sang the Japanese version of the credits, "Uraniwa ni Zombies ga". In the game World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, she took the voice of the pet "Singing Sunflower".

She has worked on over 25 titles including Plants vs. Zombies, Ghost Harvest, World of Warcraft, Minecraft and the independent RPG To The Moon.
