Brazilian samba composer and singer (Rio de Janeiro, 1911 - 1986), Nelson Cavaquinho, stage name of Nelson Antônio da Silva, was an important Brazilian musician. Cavaquinist in his youth, at maturity he opted for the guitar, developing an inimitable style of playing it, using only two fingers of his right hand.
