Phillips, Craig and Dean are a contemporary Christian music trio composed of Randy Phillips, Shawn Craig, and Dan Dean. Since forming in 1991, they have released 12 albums and earned 18 No. 1 radio singles. The group has received nine GMA Dove Award nominations, and sold over two million units, receiving two Dove Awards for participating in the special event album My Utmost for His Highest in 1996, and also took the 2010 Dove Award for Inspirational Album of the Year, Fearless. Randy Phillips, Shawn Craig & Dan Dean are three full-time pastors at different churches in different cities. In 1991, Randy Phillips went to several record companies with a solo album he had. StarSong, a Nashville-based company, urged him to form a male vocal group. He called two friends - who had also recently made solo albums. They cut their first album together early the next year. Since then, they've had 18 No. 1 singles (including the #1 Inspirational Song of the '90s, "Crucified With Christ"), and have sold over 2 million albums.

* Dan Dean Pastor of The Heartland Church (formerly Christ Temple) in Carrollton, Texas. Began (like Craig) as music/worship director before becoming senior pastor Wife: Becky; children: Dusty, Devin, Danielle, and Kendra. In the Spring of 2012, Dean was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and is now in the process of recovery and remission.
