About
Joseph Burnett, known as T-Bone Burnett, is an American producer and musician, born on January 14, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri.

He began his musical career in Los Angeles in 1972. He plays for Bob Dylan, participating in the Rolling Thunder Revue (1975-1976), and with Alpha until 1979.

Musician unanimously recognized by his peers, he is also known for his talents as a producer. He has produced Roy Orbison, BoDeans, Peter Case, Elvis Costello, Los Lobos, Marshall Crenshaw, Gillian Welch, Elton John. As a musician, he composed the soundtracks of the films O'Brother and Inside Llewyn Davis, as well as the song Scarlett Tide from the film Return to Cold Mountain, which will earn him his first nomination for the Oscar for Best Original Song. 2010 is the year of consecration for T-Bone, who will win the Oscar for Best Original Song for The Weary Kind from the movie Crazy Heart.
