The Intervals are a 3 piece indie post-punk band from Gloucestershire, UK who formed in 2005. They describe themselves as "neo-romantic indie post-punk". The line-up consisted of Chris/Andrew Townsend (Guitar & Vocals), Arthur Neild (Guitar), Fraser McCrum (Bass) and Joe/Jonah Davis (Drums). Former guitarist Arthur Neild left the band in 2008. The band split up completely in mid 2010 stating that they were "all too busy to carry on, it seems we're all in the wrong place at the wrong time to carry on this project" but also go on to say that a future project which may be "something new and exciting yet also familiar" is currently being worked on.
