Kittyhawk is an American emo and indie pop band from Chicago, Illinois. The band has currently released one full-length album, one extended play, and and four splits.
Chicago four-piece Kittyhawk play the sort of wry, dryly sweet pop songs that call to mind early 2000s bands such as Rainer Maria and The Anniversary. Trading bass guitar for a Farfiza organ, the band is anchored by the charming vocals of singer Kate Grube, whose narrative lyrics push their songs forward, inviting listeners to lean in a little closer.
